Thanks to support from the L-A-D Foundation, Stream Teams United planned an expansion of Paddle MO to include an educational river adventure in the Missouri Ozarks in 2019. We chose the Current River, a favorite float stream of Leo Drey, legendary conservationist and donor of Pioneer Forest in the Current and Jacks Fork river watersheds. Stream Teams United hosted this 3-Day, 25 mile float also in 2020-2023, offering the Paddle MO Ozarks trip on the Current River for 5 years!
Thanks to our supporters and grantors for our inaugural 2019 Paddle MO Ozarks trip:
Stream Teams United sponsored this program in partnership with the Missouri Humanities Council and with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
